Omega Productions project continues to receive recognition

The Gospel Music Association, recently announced nominations for the 40th Annual Dove Awards to be broadcast live on the Gospel Music channel. Verity/Zomba RecordingMARVIN SAPP - THIRSTY DVD... Artist Marvin Sapp was nominated for Artist of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year. His Gold-certified breakout CD THIRSTY is currently #5 on Billboard’s Gospel Sales chart. The hit 40TH ANNUAL DOVE AWARDS...single “Never Would Have Made It” remains the #1 longest radio single across all genres, spending a staggering 47 weeks at the top of the gospel radio charts. The song also achieved Gold status in ringtone sales and was named by The Associated Press as the top song of 2008. Earlier this year, Sapp was honored with eight Stellar Awards. The CD recording became the soundtrack for the award winning DVD that Paul Christensen produced for Verity/Zomba Records.

The GMA Dove Awards, gospel music’s biggest night of the year, featuring artists from every style of gospel/Christian music coming together for a night of music and celebration, will be broadcast nationwide live on the Gospel Music Channel from 8 – 10 P.M. (ET/PT) on Thursday, April 23, 2009.
