Dallas based Omega Productions has been keeping busy this year with a variety of projects including release of several high profile DVD concert videos. The company, which specializes in live concert shoots and live entertainment event management, recently announced the release of successful DVDs on Gospel artists Fred Hammond, Donnie McClurkin and Marvin Sapp. The projects, done earlier this year in Chicago, L. A. and Grand Rapids, Michigan, were produced by Paul Christensen and his wife Donna Christensen and shot by Omega’s award winning team of shooters, engineers and director, Don Moore.
The Fred Hammond DVD, Speak Those Things, POL Chapter 3, was shot in Chicago at the city’s historic Navy Pier and is on track to be one of the Verity artist’s most successful projects to date. The follow up to Donnie McClurkin’s record setting Verity album and video, Live in London, the artist’s latest DVD project, titled Donnie McClurkin… Again, was shot at LA’s renowned West Angeles Church of God in Christ. Marvin Sapp’s most recent live outing, Diary of a Psalmist, was shot in his home town of Grand Rapids, Michigan at the DeVos Center for Arts and Worship, a 25 million dollar state of the art performance center.
In addition to these projects, Omega Productions recently produced a lecture series for the Dallas Center for the Performing Arts Foundation, featuring seven-time Emmy Award-winning actress Mary Tyler Moore and a live concert video for Mississippi based Blackberry Records artists, The True Believers.
