For eight of the last 10 years, projects in which Paul Christensen and his wife Donna Christensen have participated, have been nominated for a GRAMMY® by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences ® (NARAS®). This year, two projects were singled out for recognition.
The first nomination was for Best Traditional Soul Gospel Album, from a live concert recording and video project for Verity (Jive) Records, New York, featuring recording artist, Twinkie Clark, titled Twinkie Clark & Friends. The second GRAMMY® nomination for Best Contemporary Soul Gospel Album, resulted from a Verity Records live recording and concert video project involving the well known popular group Commissioned, titled, The Commissioned Reunion Live. Both projects were released as CDs and became the soundtracks for Long Form Videos, produced by the Christensens.
In addition to the GRAMMY® nominated sound tracks, the two videos produced by the Christensens have enjoyed a high ranking on the Billboard Video Charts. During the company’s 30-year history, these awards represent the 18th and 19th GRAMMY® Nominations Omega projects have received, as well as the 12th and 13th nominations during the past 10 years.
