Paul Christensen and the award winning Omega Productions crew were recently in Indianapolis, Indiana shooting God’s Child Record’s artist Sharon Moore for a liveCD and DVD release. The concert, held at the New Life Worship Center where John Ramsey, Sr. is Senior Pastor, featured performances by Sharon Moore, accompanied by a Vocal Ensemble, Choir, extensive Rhythm Section and Orchestra, including String and Brass sections. Several dance numbers were also included in the evening’s festivities, offering additional spectacle.
The expectant crowd of devoted fans were treated to a high energy evening of spirited songs by Sharon Moore and her friends. Ms. Moore, who also serves as Worship Leader at New Life Worship Center, led the group on a musical journey providing song after song on a stage brimming with energy and vibrant color. As the evening progressed, it became evident this concert was destined to be a well received CD and DVD project.
Michael Bowens, President and Ernie Perkins, Vice President of God’s Child Records, served as Executive Producers, assisted by Darrel Harris, who Produced the Project. Producing the CD and music for God’s Child were Terry and Simeon Baker. Paul Christensen served as Television and Live Event Producer bringing in the award winning Omega team of shooters, including Director Don Moore. Ruthel Flunder assisted with talent and logistics. Rounding out Omega’s talented crew were Logan Gilpin and Jessica Hebda on Hand Held Cameras, Randy Thomson on Jimmy Jib and Steve Cobb and Danny Purdue on Fixed Cameras. Logan Gilpin also provided all of the behind the scenes and interview footage.
The stage was transformed into a spectacular wash of color and impressive set design by Lighting Director Matthew Reifsteck. Dodd Technologies, Inc., Indianapolis, provided the conventional and intelligentlighting for the project as well as Staging, Soft Goods and Projection Services. Mobile Production Services, Inc. (MPS), Columbus, Ohio, provided remote television facilities. Eric Riley, MPS President and Chief Engineer served as EIC and shaded the cameras. Remote recording facilities were provided by Metro Mobile, Chicago, Illinois. Alan Litton, Nashville Tennessee served as Recording Engineer along with Metro Mobile’s President, Tim Powell, assisted by Michael Ways. Sound Reinforcement was provided by New Life Worship Center with the able assistance of New Life’s Audio Director, Jeremiah Packett. Atlanta based Production Specialist and Sound Engineer, Charles Harris, Jr., was brought in to mix the concert and supervise all aspects of the stage production.
For those of us at Omega Productions, this project was a special enjoyment. We are excited for all the folks at God’s Child Records. They have a bright future ahead. We wish to thank Michael Bowens and Ernie Perkins as well as Ernie’s wife , Tameka Perkins. In addition, our thanks go out to Darrel and Jeanette Harris who did so much for us during our stay. Not least of course, we want to express our appreciation to the New Life Worship Center family, especially Pastor John Ramsey, Sr. We are also grateful to Tim Roberts, Facilities Manager, who coordinated so many details and assisted in making the project a success.
